Automatic groups
TeamSpeak description: main and makers
TXBot reads each person's description on TS to know which is the main character and which are the makers. With that it gives the level and vocation groups, the maker groups and the online dot next to the name.
Build your description
How to set it on TS
- On TeamSpeak, right-click your name.
- Choose Change Description (on TS6: Edit description). If the option does not show up, ask a TS admin to set it for you.
- Paste the text generated above and confirm. Within a minute the bot reads the new description.
What each part does
- Name or nickname (optional, before the
-): just so the guild knows who you are. The bot ignores this part. - Main: your main character. It gives the level range group (
100+,200+…), the vocation group (EK,RP,ED,MS…) and the green dot when it is online. - Maker:, Maker2:, Maker3:… your makers, up to 5. When the main is offline and a maker is online, the dot turns blue. If the server has the groups
Maker 45+,Maker 100+,Maker 150+…, you get the range of your highest-level maker.
The dots next to the name
Verde: o main está online.
Azul: o main está offline, mas um maker está online.
Branca: tudo offline.
For TS admins
- The bot uses the groups that already exist on your server, by name: ranges like
100+and200+, vocations likeEKandMS, and makers likeMaker 45+andMaker 100+. It never creates or deletes groups; you choose the range names and the icons. - Maker groups are optional. Without them, the blue dot still works.
- The bot also understands descriptions in other bots' format (
Main: Fulano | Maker: A, B), so whoever migrates does not need to rewrite them. - Turn it on and set everything up in the panel, under Automatic groups.
