TeamSpeak bot for Tibia: what it does and how to choose
In a war, or just to hunt in peace, a guild needs to know at all times who is online, who died and who is in each respawn. Checking the server's website every minute does not work. A TeamSpeak bot does that job on its own and shows everything where the guild already is: on TS.
What a good bot does for the guild
- Hunted and friend list online: TS channels showing who from the enemy and ally lists is online right now, with level and vocation.
- Poke alerts: when a hunted logs in, dies or levels up, everyone in the guild is warned instantly.
- A whole guild in one command: you add the enemy guild and anyone who joins it lands on the list.
- Death list: a channel with deaths and who killed, player or monster.
- Respawn queue: each member claims a respawn on TS, and whoever comes later joins the queue.
- Automatic groups: each member's level and vocation show up on TS without anyone touching it.
What to check before choosing
- Is your server supported? The bot has to read the online list and deaths of Tibia global or your OT. Without that, nothing works.
- Does it run on its own, 24 hours? A bot that depends on someone's computer being on goes down when that person turns it off.
- Does it work on your TS? Check that it supports TeamSpeak 3 and TeamSpeak 6 on any host, without switching servers.
- Can you set it up without coding? A web panel for lists, channels and alerts saves hours.
- Is there a free trial? The safest way to decide is to see the bot running on your guild's TS.
How TXBot does it
TXBot runs on our servers, 24 hours a day, and joins the guild's TeamSpeak like a regular client: it works on TS3 and TS6, on any host. It reads Tibia global and several OTs (RubinOT, Olders, Medivia, Souls of Elysium and more, see the list on the home page), and everything is set up in a web panel, with no coding.
Day to day, the guild uses commands right on TS: !hunted shows who from the hunted list is online, !hunted add Name adds someone, !scan Name looks for the enemy's makers and !resp CODE claims a respawn. The full list is on the commands page.
To start with what matters most, see the hunted list on TeamSpeak guide.
Try TXBot free for 3 days: no card needed, and the bot joins your TeamSpeak in a few minutes.
