TeamSpeak for your RedOT guild: hunted, PvP deaths and respawns
Quick answer: You can have your RedOT hunted list on your guild's TeamSpeak, with login and death pokes, a death list with the killers, a war score and a respawn queue. TXBot is an independent bot that reads the server's public website (redotserver.com).
RedOT is a single-world server, Retro PvP, with the 15.32 client. On a single world, everyone runs into everyone: the enemy guild hunts the same spots, and knowing quickly who is online and who died makes a difference. This post shows how to keep a RedOT guild organized on TeamSpeak and what a bot can read from the server.
The basics of a well-organized guild
- Hunted list. A channel with the online enemies, their level, vocation and how long they have been logged in. You can split mains and makers with a level cutoff.
- Friend list. The same for your allies, so you know who can help right now.
- Login, death and level-up pokes. Each member chooses what they receive; nobody has to get poked for everything.
- Death list. Hunted and friend deaths with the level and the killer.
- Makers.
!scan Namecross-checks logins and logouts and points out the likely other characters on the same account. - Respawn queue.
!respclaims the hunt or joins the queue, and the bot tells who is next.
What TXBot reads from RedOT
Everything comes from RedOT's public website: the online list, character profiles, guilds with their members and the latest deaths page. Since the server has a single world, there is no world to pick at checkout. The online list and the deaths are read every 45 seconds.
PvP deaths with every killer
A RedOT detail that matters in a war: the site's latest deaths page shows only the first killer. The character profile shows all of them. So when someone on your lists dies to a player, the bot checks the profile and completes the death with everyone who took part. That way the !war score and the Weekly kills channel count each friend's frags properly, not just the one who landed first.
How to set it up
- Start the free 3-day trial, no card needed, choosing RedOT.
- In the panel, connect your TeamSpeak 3 or 6 with IP, port and an admin privilege key. The bot joins on its own.
- Create the hunted and friend lists. Each becomes a channel.
- Add the whole enemy guild with
!hunted addguild Guild Name; anyone who joins it later is added too. - Import the hunts your guild uses and organize respawns with
!resp.
An independent bot, with no ties to RedOT
TXBot is not official to RedOT nor a partner of the server. It only reads the site's public pages, like any player, never asks for a game login or password and shares reading among the guilds that use the bot, so it does not load the site.

Frequently asked questions
Does TXBot work on RedOT?
Yes. It follows RedOT's single world through the server's public website: who is online, the deaths and the guilds.
Why does a death sometimes get more killers later?
Because RedOT's deaths page shows only the first killer. For PvP deaths of people on your lists, the bot checks the profile and adds everyone.
Is TXBot a RedOT partner?
No. It is an independent bot with no ties to the server. It only uses what the site shows to any player.
Try TXBot free for 3 days: no card needed, and the bot joins your TeamSpeak in a few minutes.
