How to organize a war in Tibia: channels, hunted list and scoreboard

Quick answer: A well-organized war has one leader making the call, a TeamSpeak with a few clear channels, an always up-to-date hunted list (makers included) and a scoreboard of player kills only. TXBot builds the hunted list, the PvP deaths channel and the !war score right on your TS.

A Tibia war is not won by PvP alone. The side that organizes better wins: the one that knows where the enemy is, calls at the right moment and keeps the guild from scattering across the map. This is a practical plan to set up that organization, from TeamSpeak to the end-of-day scoreboard.

Who runs the war?

Before any channel, define the roles. A war without leadership turns into ten people talking at once on the call, and the enemy thanks you for it. The minimum that works:

  • Leader (caller): decides when to attack, when to fall back and where the guild goes. On the attack call, only they give orders.
  • Second in command: takes over when the leader dies or logs out, and handles who plays at each time slot.
  • Scouts: makers or low-level chars watching the hunts and the cities where the enemy usually shows up.
  • List keeper: one or two people who keep the hunted list up to date, so nobody adds a wrong name or forgets an enemy ally.

How should you set up the TeamSpeak channels?

A war TS has to be simple: when the attack starts, nobody has time to look for a channel. A layout that works for most guilds:

  • Call / War: the action channel. You can leave speaking rights only to the leader and whoever they pick, using TeamSpeak's talk power.
  • Hunts: one or two channels for those hunting outside the attack who can be called at any moment.
  • AFK / scouts: for those online just to watch.
  • Info channels: hunted online, deaths and the scoreboard. Nobody joins them: you just click and read the description.

Also agree on how to report a spotted enemy: one short sentence with name, vocation and place. “Their knight going down hunt X” beats thirty seconds of shouting.

The hunted list: the foundation of everything

Without an up-to-date enemy list, nothing else works. The hunted list must have the whole enemy guild, its allies and the makers you have already identified, each with a comment saying who is who: someone's main, a scout, a bomb char. A spreadsheet list ages fast in a war, because people join and leave the guild every day; see why in a hunted list without a spreadsheet and how to build yours in the hunted list on TeamSpeak guide.

How do you find the enemy's maker?

The enemy vanished from the map but still knows where you hunt? It is almost always a maker. In Tibia and most OTs an account has only one character online at a time, so the player must log out the main to log in the maker. That switch, repeated day after day, gives the second char away. The step by step is in how to find a maker in Tibia.

Why keep a scoreboard?

A scoreboard is not just for trash talk on the forum. It shows whether the strategy works, who in your guild keeps dying and should change hunt or time, and who on the other side is no longer logging in. The rule is to count deaths to players only: a death to a monster is not a frag and only messes up the count.

How TXBot organizes the war on TS

TXBot is a TeamSpeak 3 and 6 bot for Tibia and OT guilds. It reads the server's online list and deaths and turns them into channels and alerts inside your guild's TS. For the hunted list, in a private message to the bot:

  • !hunted addguild Guild Name puts the whole enemy guild on the list; anyone who joins it later is added automatically.
  • !hunted add Name, maker of So-and-so adds a loose char with a comment.
  • When a hunted logs in or dies, the guild gets a poke. Each member tunes their own with !pokes só mortes (deaths only) or !pokes sem login (no login pokes).
  • !scan Name points out an enemy's likely other characters.
  • !rs Name 30 marks an enemy as RedSkull for 30 days.

For the scoreboard there are three pieces, all counting only deaths where a player is among the killers:

  • The PvP deaths channel: today's and yesterday's score, with hunteds killed, friends killed, the balance and each friend's frags, and the PvP-only history below. The day turns at midnight in the time zone chosen in the panel, so a late-night war does not vanish from the score.
  • The Weekly kills channel: the last 7 days' score, always up to date, with the top killers and who died the most on each side.
  • !war in a private message to the bot: the last 7 days. It also takes !war today, !war yesterday, !war 1 (24 hours) and !war 30 (30 days).

When it is time to invade, admins call everyone online on TS with !mp message, or schedule the call with !agendar 21:00 message. And the Hunted hours channel shows the average number of enemies online per day and hour over the last 30 days, with the peak and the quietest time: that is where you pick the time to strike.

The full step by step is in the war bot for Tibia guide, and every command is on the commands page.

Frequently asked questions

Do deaths to monsters count on the war score?

No. The PvP deaths channel, the Weekly kills channel and the !war command only count deaths where a player is among the killers.

When does the daily score reset?

At midnight, in the time zone chosen in the panel. The PvP deaths channel shows today's and yesterday's score together, so a late-night war does not vanish when the day turns.

Who can add names to the hunted list?

Whoever is in the TS groups chosen in the panel, under Permissions. With no group set, any member can. It is worth picking one or two people to look after the list during a war.

Does it work on OTs or only on global Tibia?

Both. TXBot follows global Tibia and several OTs, such as RubinOT and Olders, and runs on TeamSpeak 3 and TeamSpeak 6.
