TeamSpeak 6 for Tibia guilds: what changes and how to use the bot

TeamSpeak 6 is the new generation of TeamSpeak, with a redesigned client and features such as screen sharing. The TS6 server is still in beta, but many guilds already use it every day.

Is it worth leaving TS3?

If your guild's TS3 works well, there is no rush: channels, groups and permissions follow the same logic, and TXBot does exactly the same on both. Try TS6 when the guild wants the new client; stay on TS3 when stability is what matters right now.

Adding the bot to TS6

  1. In the TXBot panel, under Connection, enter the TS6 server address (and the port, if it is not the default one).
  2. Paste a privilege key from the administrator group. Not sure how to create one? See the guide how to create a privilege key.
  3. The bot joins, creates its group and builds the channels: hunted, friend, deaths, respawns and anything else you turn on.

If TS6 refuses the bot for being a guest without a group, give the Guest group permission to join the default channel (or leave a default channel open) and connect again from the panel.

What works the same

Prefer to stay on TeamSpeak 3? We host that too: see the TeamSpeak 3 server with ready-made rooms, half price together with the bot.

Try TXBot free for 3 days: no card needed, and the bot joins your TeamSpeak in a few minutes.
